ABOUT GENE MAGE

Gene C. Mage is a professional speaker, author, and leadership development expert.  He speaks more than 100 times per year to some of America's leading organizations.  He writes the syndicated newspaper column Making it Work, which reaches more than 350,000 readers each week.

Before starting his own firm in the year 2000, Gene served for 12 years in leadership at one of America's most admired companies, Corning Incorporated.   During his tenure he developed and launched Cranberry Visions cookware, which achieved $38 million in sales its first year, opened a sales office in Tokyo Japan, and developed leaders in five countries around the world.  He also served as leader of Corning's internal consulting group.

A professionally trained speaker, management consultant, and corporate trainer, Gene has learned from industry luminaries such as Alan Weiss, Peter Block, Rick Maurer, Dana Gaines Robinson, Patricia Fripp, Dottie Walters, Jack Barnard and John Maxwell.  Gene also received training in the Gestalt approach to organizational consulting.
